The Young Creator's Unit

For teens with something to say! The Young Creator’s Unit is the perfect way to transform your story into art. Using devised theatre practices like structured improvisation and task-specific writing, students will collaboratively build an original play from scratch. At the halfway mark, you’ll get to share your work with MTYP’s Professional Playwriting Unit, the Sandbox, and take your play to the next level. Taught by MTYP Artistic Director Pablo Felices-Luna and Artistic Associate Sarah Flynn, the Young Creator’s Unit is the next step in your creative story.
