The Pa'akai We Bring: Free Panel Discussion
MTYP rush seatingApril 28 @ 2pm
The discussion will be moderated by award-winning playwright Michaela Washburn, who co-wrote Frozen River. She is joined by Frozen River co-playwright, Joelle Peters, Artistic Director of Native Earth Performing Arts, along with BC-based Métis playwright Erin Macklem, as panelists. Joining them all will be Moses Goods, lead creator of The Pa’akai We Bring, along with members of the cast. This event offers an incredible opportunity to gain a deeper understanding about the work of these Indigenous artists as they share their stories and insights about creating theatre for young audiences.
Admission is free! Yes! That’s correct! Also, you do not need to have attended the show beforehand to attend this panel discussion (but you really should see this beautiful show!).

Adventure awaits this summer at MTYP! There are nine-themed weeks of camp beginning July 2 and ending August 30. Camp themes will be announced on April 30, but get a headstart and sign up your camper on Tuesday, April 16 at 10 a.m. when registration officially opens!
Story to Stage (ages 5-6) 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
The instructor selects a story or book related to the week’s theme, and the class works together to adapt it into a performance on the last day of camp for family and friends.
